* Beatles & Brunch: Real. Meet fellow Terps for Fab Four music appreciation and food. Learn more about the club on its Instagram account.
* Maryland Squirrel Watchers: Real. Nuts about the unofficial UMD mascot? Play games, take nature (squirrel-themed) walks and share photos on Discord and Instagram.Ê
* The Breakfast Club: Fake. Could have been a literal interpretation of the classic Brat Pack flick. ItÕs not.Ê
* Heavy Metal Ukulele Society: Fake. Head-banging music on an island instrument is a thing, just not officially at UMD.Ê
* Coffee@UMD: Real. And itÕs popular! Students sip free roasts from Vigilante Coffee while studying or socializing. Follow @UMDCoffee for details.
* The Lettuce Club. Fake, but a trick question! The short-lived club from 2017 challenged members to eat a whole lettuce as fast as possible. Its legend lives on in a 2021 Diamondback story, a Reddit thread and even recent ÒElliot in the Morning" banter on DC101
* LeBron James Club: Real. Revel in the NBA greatÕs achievements, and sharpen debate skills against Michael-Jordan-as-GOAT supporters. Check out its GroupMe.Ê
* Splatoon at UMD: Real. Connect in person and on Discord with other players of the Nintendo third-person shooter game featuring Inklings and Octolings.Ê
* Moonwalking Club: Fake. UMD has neither the astronauts nor enough organized Michael Jackson dance fans to pull this off. But itÕs never too late to start a new club. All it takes to register is six Terps and a faculty or staff adviser.
* Procrastinators Anonymous. Fake, but maybe itÕs time to start this one. Or not.Ê
